What This Guy Does With Eggs Is Pretty Much Unbelievable

When Chinese artist Wen Fuliang was laid off his job as a wood carver he used his carving skills to a very different end. He started transforming chicken, goose, and duck eggshells into incredible works of art that he could sell. Incredible in both beauty and how fragile they are.

Check out these photos of his unique art below:

Wen Fuliang has been practising the very delicate art of eggshell carving for over twelve years now.

The process is incredibly time-consuming and requires Fuliang to gently secure the eggshell in one hand while skilfully carving with the other.

He first sketches a design onto the shell, which has been carefully emptied of the yolk and egg white with a syringe.

Then using a fine diamond bit on an electric rotary tool he carefully carves the shell.

Those are the hands of a surgeon.

Some samples of his incredible egg shell carvings:

Gotta give it to Mr. Fuliang, he’s doing an eggcellent job. He must be eggstatic with his perfeggly eggecuted work…ok I took the puns way too far there. I have no eggcuses.

Share this unusual work of art with your friends below.
